What I do
- smile.breathe.move.explore -
Yoga is my self-care project and the foundation of all my classes. My focus is on feeling good, staying well, enjoying movement as well as inviting stillness.
In my Hatha classes we move consciously into our poses building strength, flexibility and stamina. Longer held yin postures work into the deeper connective tissues, encouraging us to pause and explore body and mind whilst increasing our range of movement. My classes for the younger yogis are built on having fun when moving our bodies
I will guide you in synchronising breath with movement - increasing focus, energy and balance.
During the current health crisis I have increasingly focussed on respiratory health, diving deeper into breath awareness and management. When planning my yoga practice I draw on my qualifications as a Hatha, Yin and Teen yoga teacher, a Level 3 Sports Coach, mum, wife, dog owner, story teller and a Masters degree in Sport & Exercise Psychology.
12-week-courses covering the DofE physical section.
Fully interactive yoga teaching in a closed Zoom meeting. Traditional yoga class themes, breathing techniques for daily life and building classic peak poses.
Current courses run until the end of July and new courses will start in September
